Residential Services & Detox Center
Residential Services began in 1997 at 424 E. Main St., Batavia with the opening of the Atwater Home Community Residence. Our services support the development of healthy living skills. Atwater Home Community Residence staff and supportive living staff are dedicated to ensuring residents have access to needed services and support and are engaged in meaningful programs. The Atwater Home Community Residence provides a structured, chemical-free environment for men and women in recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction.
GCASA’s Detox Center opened in 2022 in an addition to back of the Atwater Community Residence. The Detox Center is fully staffed by medical and substance use counseling professionals specially trained and certified to assist people who require short-term services.
We know that everyone’s path to recovery is different. GCASA has a variety of support services to help people on their own path to recovery. We also have support available for family members of people who are actively using drugs or alcohol. To start, please call our 24/7 peer hotline at 585-815-1800 or visit our Recovery Services page.
