Prevention program services aim to reduce the incidence and prevalence of substance use among people of all ages. Our philosophy is based on prevention science — programs need to be research based, data driven and outcome focused. The Prevention Needs Assessment (PNA) survey is administered to youth throughout Genesee County biannually. The prevention dashboard provides an interactive visualization of 10 years of youth use and risk and protective factors. Prevention program staff is available to deliver a variety of services and certified programs in the community and schools.
Prevention offices are located in Batavia and Albion. If your questions about our prevention services and programs are not answered on our website, contact Assistant Director of Prevention Sherri Bensley at 585-331-8742 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
