Orleans United DFC Coalition

The Orleans United Drug Free Communities Coalition was formed in 2003 when concerned community members approached GCASA about alcohol and marijuana use by youth in Orleans County.

Since then, Orleans United has worked to decrease youth alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana use.  The Coalition also works to make positive changes in youth developmental risk and protective factors.

To promote a healthy community by reducing the incidence and prevalence of alcohol, tobacco and drug use by youth and young adults through education, policies and environmental strategies.

To create a collaborative community providing safe environments for economic growth, healthy living, and nurturing activities for youth.
