Board of Directors
The GCASA Board of Directors is elected by a majority vote of council members, and serve three-year terms of office. Board members are limited to two consecutive terms, and are collectively responsible for the direct control and management of all GCASA affairs. The board has a maximum of 15 members, among which are three officer positions — president, vice president and secretary/treasurer.
The board also conducts an annual meeting each spring during which larger efforts and endeavors can be openly voted upon by all eligible members of GCASA. Actions at the annual meeting can include electing new members to the board of directors, acting upon business or reports, or amending or updating the bylaws of the organzation.
