Harm Reduction Counselor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under direct supervision, the Counselor will perform evidence-based assessments and use evidenced-based practices (including but not limited to Motivational Interviewing) and therapeutic methods to support people with SUD who do not have an immediate goal of abstinence through connections to harm reduction and recovery support, additional levels of care as needed and wanted, and individual and group therapy that takes a harm reduction approach and validates the choices of people who use drugs while not minimizing risks and dangers. Minimum BA degree in Human Service related field. CASAC preferred, with two years full-time paid direct service experience in a recognized human service agency – with direct service experience in field of addiction and mental health or equivalent.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Under the supervision of the Harm Reduction Coordinator.

Status: Part time, 0.5 FTE based on a 35-hour work week, grant funded
Pay Range:  $18-$22 per hour

Finance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Finance Manager performs accounting tasks for UConnectCare, Inc. and the Foundation. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion and privacy regarding all facets of financial information and activities at all times. Print and post entries from TenEleven monthly. Compare general ledger accounts receivable with TenEleven. Compare cash received in the revenue journal with TenEleven reports. Prepare an accrual quarterly financial statement for the Board and other interested parties. Review the completed revenue journal at the end of the month. Licensed Practical Nurse – Detox

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the Physician Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full time nights, and part-time and full-time days. Weekends.  LPN is responsible for related services for each patient and appropriate linkage to internal/external services. The LPN will participate in the Interdisciplinary Team meetings when necessary to inform the clinical team about medical issues, under the direction of the Physician Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York. Must have a current CPR/First Aid certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine the appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies. Registered Nurse (RN)

SUPERVISION: The Registered Nurse will report to the Nurse Manager  

DUTIES:
Per diem, part-time and full-time positions available. Evenings, weekends and holiday coverage needed. The nurse is responsible for all nursing related services for each patient and for linking patients to the physicians and to outside medical resources. They participate in the Interdisciplinary Team Meetings when necessary to inform the clinical team about medical issues and is available for emergency medical situations. The nurse provides all services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The nurse is responsible to provide medical and history screens, providing routine nursing care and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician. They are also a member of the Treatment Team and will provide input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan.
