At any given time 20% of the workforce is experiencing personal problems.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional counseling service to help employees and their families deal with a variety of problems which may adversely affect their job performance and/or personal well-being.
All employees covered by their employers EAP contract may utilize EAP services. Use of EAP is voluntary.
Extended family members and significant others are also eligible to receive services.
EAP provides an initial evaluation, counseling and referral for any employee confronting
personal problems such as work related or personal stress, anxiety, depression, family or marital
problems and alcohol or substance abuse.
